The main heartthrob of this ministry, from a visionary standpoint, is based on Colossians 1:28:
"Whom we preach (Jesus Christ), warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus"
This is and has been the vision of the church's Pastor, Darren Hood, ever since being called to the ministry. Other elements, key components and convictions are explained below under the following headings:
PROPER PRESENTATION OF GOD'S WORD
(2 Timothy 4:2-4) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
The time when people would not endure sound doctrine has come. People are turning a deaf ear to the word of God and sound doctrine and embracing singing, acting and fiction in its place. People in the church embrace new age philosophies and other "ologies" in the stead of the wisdom of God.
Remnant Christian Assembly strives to present the unadulterated word of God (sound doctrine) to its attendees. We do not endorse entertainment-based church operation — taking the well-being of God's people very seriously, as we well should.
NOTE: Music and worship has its place, but are not substitutes for the word of God and sound doctrine. They are supplements and must be in accordance with the word of God to be effectual.
MINISTERIAL DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT
(1 Samuel 18:9) And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.
Unfortunately, we live in a day when many whom God is raising up come under attack by those who should be protecting them and helping them to develop in God. David came under such an attack at the hands of Saul. The terrorizing lasted for years. Remnant Christian Assembly is dedicated to embracing, protecting and nurturing all who are called to do a work for the Lord and provide support when necessary and possible.
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP IN PERSPECTIVE
(2 Peter 2:3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
Plainly stated, church membership IS NOT scripturally sound. Those who are saved are members of the body of Christ. Those who have planted themselves in a local assembly should carry themselves as prescribed by the word of God . . . first and foremost. People who are church members first and Christians second (if at all), violate the sanctity by which God has ordained that we operate. As a matter of fact, many of them are full of pride — constantly boasting about their church (even more than they boast about the Lord Jesus). The church is an ORGANISM first and an organization second.
In light of this, Remnant Christian Assembly does not offer "memberships". We refer to those who attend regularly as, well, regulars — an honor system, if you will. We are fully convince that, in so doing, focus remains on the Lord and on belonging to the body of Christ than to a given assembly of believers.
We also believe and know that teaching and reinforcing such a mindset results in dedication to the ORGANISM rather than the organization/building, contributing to a healthier body of Christ.
The needs of God's people are many. In addition, it can be very difficult and practically impossible to address and/or meet all of those needs in a standard service. Therefore, under the unction and leading of the Spirit, Remnant has several divisions, departments, tiers, and resources through which God can be glorified in a specific manner.

Much is said today about ministerial visions. In conclusion, our vision is simple — to reflect the will of God for church operation and feed the flock of God accordingly. Interestingly, all churches should have the same vision. When "visions" differ from that which is fully ordained by the word of God, division results.
As a ministry, we do mark certain bylines and primary focuses as indicated by the following passages of scripture:
In a day when people are being inundated with denominationalism and hyperdedication to leadership, what results is an improper view of the body of Christ. We are dedicated to presenting a corporate view of God's people. This includes elements of proper identification and dealing with people as we ought. The days where people are only concerned about the people in their "home" church have crippled us long enough. The days where people respect the pastor and leaders in their church and disavow others is no more. By striving to teach these premises, we hope to facilitate the love of God in the midst of His people.
In conclusion and in short, just in case you haven't already figured it out, Remnant Christian Assembly is called to "reform-based ministry". We strive to do ministry the way it is supposed to be done (including establishing order whereever the Lord dispatches us), teaching what ought to be taught and doing so, in a proper manner, to every man based on his state.
The Lord Jesus is coming back soon. The age of winking at ignorance has ended. Whose report will you believe?!?
