In the mid-1990s, during Remnant’s foundational years (as Scenario Ministries International), Pastor Hood was responsible for all of the ministry’s technological and computer-related operations. He was frequently called upon to help or serve as a knowledge resource for many—within the ministry and beyond.
During this “technological awakening”, Pastor Hood was growing by leaps and bounds himself, but also got a birds-eye view of where many others stood when it came to computers and technology. He witnessed many people being taken advantage of (by companies charging high rates for services). Having also served as a trainer, he also had a great burden for those interested in learning more. In addition, Pastor Hood also encountered many who were in need of web site design, but couldn’t pay the going rates, as well as many who wanted to buy computers, but couldn’t afford them.
Through the grace of God and the burden from these experiences, TechMinistry was born. TechMinistry’s mission is reflected by its byline – Serving people through technology.
Since the mid-90s, TechMinistry, the technological wing of Remnant Christian Assembly, has served as a resource for those at Remnant and beyond. Examples of help provided include the following:
TechMinistry comes to the aid of those in need and conducts brief “techie” sessions as led of the Lord. Check our Calendar or subscribe to Ministry News to receive updates about upcoming events.
